Celebrate the impact and inspiration of women creatives with us at Abricot this International Women’s Month, 💃🏻👩🎤👩🏽🤝👩🏻 starting on Friday March 8th (International Women’s Day), and running all month long!
Kicking off this monthlong celebration we’ll celebrate women in music this Friday night for the official International Women’s Day. Join Abricot’s very own Jennifer Crain and her girl band Pandora’s Box! in their Abricot debut. They’ll be rocking a set of all female artists. We also welcome back a fan-favorite group, the all-women, all-singers band Moush, from 8pm.
Following our ode to women in music, we are throwing a Spring party for Beauty, Fashion, Sunshine & Sustainability. 👠🧚♀️👑🪷 Join us on the night of this year’s Spring Equinox Tuesday March 19th to celebrate with some sassy, seasonal spring styling. We’ll be hosting Michelle Pozon, Spiritual Stylist and creator of The Beauty Deck, 53 cards for intuitive healing to help every one of us realign our thoughts and beliefs to their highest potential.
The Spring Equinox, in addition to being a 12-hour day of sunshine ☀️ (YAYYYY!!!!), also represents a time for seasonal renewal of hope, transformation, and refreshment. It also, because we’re Abricot, represents a great excuse to refresh with a cocktail (or 2 or 3) and throw a party with our besties. We hope you’ll join us!

The two women who've had the most impact on where I am at this stage of my life and career are my mom Rhonda, and my friend and business partner Jen (you might know her!)My mom opened her business Roni-Sue's Chocolates in her 50s, showing me that it's really never too late to follow your passion, and her nuanced and whimsical approach to flavor has had a major influence on my food and cocktail creations. ❤️🍫🍹
Jen swept me up on this wild ride of Parisian entrepreneurship with her big-picture vision (stay tuned 😉). Her ability to see the solution behind every problem and the blue sky behind every cloud inspires me to keep stretching my own ideas of what's possible (and en plus, she's got a perfect eye and a perfect palate)! 👯♂️
Jen:
I don’t think I can talk about women creatives in an Abricot newsletter without leading with my dear friend Eli, who is not only a design genie 🧞♂️, but the inspo for the Izzy’s project (our pre-Abricot cocktail delivery service). Sitting in confinement on one of our daily sanity calls, she was creative enough to ask me what most inspired me and then encouraged me to ‘put a label on it’. The rest is herstory…
My partner Allison is one of the brightest creative lights I’ve met… you all have tasted the results as she’s taught me almost everything cocktail I know (and much more). She’s also tirelessly hardworking… Allison, may the new Abricot year also bring more r&r sipping the cocktails you so lovingly create! 🍸
And finally, I think an International Women’s tribute isn’t complete without mentioning my mama. When I was young, in my community, women in business were unicorns. She was one such unicorn 🦄, and I was always SO proud of her when she picked me up from school in her nylons and heels. This makes her a leading creative in my book. 💕

Spring Equinox is a time for renewal, hope and taking steps toward the life we desire by clearing out-moded thoughts and practices. We invite you to a true conversation with Spiritual Stylist Michelle Pozon and The Beauty Deck’s 53 cards for Intuitive Healing to help every one of us realign our thoughts and beliefs to their highest potential.
Designing and styling since she was 4 years old, Michelle formally entered the world of Fashion in 1992 and left in 2011, burdened by the entitled inhumanity, waste and destructive practices of the trade. Michelle created Spiritual Styling to alchemize her skills to empower men and women to find self love, take command of their style and free themselves from the hamster wheel of fashion.
What to expect:
Personal readings will be on offer, but the main goal is to show how interconnected we are with a group reading for everyone present, and a short introduction of how Spiritual Styling can help anyone elevate their style and be forever beautiful. Practical, easy to implement tips will be on-hand to make mindfulness and intentional living readily accessible for everyone.
