Come see us this February... for Galentines, Valentines, &... OUR ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY !!! 🎉🧡🪩💃🏻💝✨🎊

Well, bébés, almost no words can describe the journey that it has taken to arrive on the Paris cocktail scene, but as of this month - February 15th, to be exact - we have made it… to our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! 🎉🧡💃🏻✨🪩🍑🍸
Our first year is a recipe comprised of a little nostalgia, a fair amount of exuberance, a touch of occasional self-pity 😂, enough laughter to see us through and a LOT of gratitude as we look back on the road less traveled that we (and most cocktail bar owners) started down long before we opened the doors last year.
We’re also WAYYY more interested in the road ahead, 🛣️ filled with big plans: more incredible events, food, experiences, music, holidays together… It’s a path paved entirely by you, our incredible community. You’ve let us know what you love and what you show up for. You’re everything we ever wanted our Abricot community to be — warm & joyful, inclusive, often femme, always lovely - showing up as your best selves, your worst selves, your true selves, night after night.
Thank you doesn’t cover it. So come by and let’s fête together THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 15th. 🥳 We’ll be open until 2am, BRINGING BACK some of our GREATEST HITS 🪩 with a special menu. Remember the PB&J? 🥜🍓🥃 The Lac Titicaca? 🍹The Green Goddess? 🧚♀️ They’re all on there! Plus, both owners will be on the bar slinging drinks, serving snacks (including free snacks and shots!), & celebrating the ABRICOT community we’ve all created together. 🍑
But first, a little throwback moment, with Allison & Jen, as we journal our one year thoughts for you here. We’d love to share, but if you’re pressed, as always, scroll down, for the quick & dirty events calendar. 😉⬇️

Allison:
What a year it's been! At times it feels like it's flown by, and at others it feels like it's been a decade since we first officially opened our doors.
We've accomplished so much of what we set out to do: we created a space for community to come together over delicious cocktails (and NACHOS!), a place for first dates, celebrations of birthdays, engagements, promotions (and even divorces), and where Jen and I could express our creative points of view.
It has unquestionably been the most challenging year of my life, and nothing ever moves as quickly as my hustle-culture-prone New York attitude would like, but anniversaries are opportunities to see the forest for the trees, and when I look at how much we did on our scrappy DIY shoestring, I'm truly proud, and I hope that this time next year there's even more to celebrate!
Highlights :
*Welcoming friends (old and new, local and far-flung) to the bar and seeing it through their eyes.
*Finding a true collaborator (and beloved friend 🧡) in Jen, whose palate is sharp as a knife and perfectly complementary to mine, who thinks huge, inspires me to dream bigger, and believe in myself more, and who hustles harder than anyone I've ever met. I would literally not be here if not for her!
*Developing the (secretly vegan) recipe for the nachos of my dreams so I can eat nachos in Paris 😋
Low-lights : Anything involving plumbing, electric, or French bureaucracy (we've had our fair share of all 3).
Most excited about : Reaching more people, here in Paris and around the world, and deepening the community we've already started to create.

Jen:
I can hardly remember how this journey began, it has been such a winding path, and began so long before its official inception when we picked up the keys. Whoever said the world was made round so that we couldn’t see too far ahead of us had it right… I don’t think I would have done it if I had seen the future… and still, I’m so glad I did. Sometimes its good to not know what we don’t know — makes us willing to dive in to projects we might otherwise think (wisely, but unadventurously ;)) are too big, too challenging for us.
Even writing this, I can’t decide whether I feel like throwing the world’s biggest party to commemorate what we’ve accomplished — or having the world’s longest cry/bath/sleep, and the answer is probably both... ;)
On this first anniversary, I cannot even talk about it without singing the praises of my biz partner — the INSANELY talented and mysteriously underrated Ms. Kave. I could not and would not do it without her, and thank GOD I don’t have to. I cannot talk about it without shoutouts to my family who spent every night without me for almost a year (& occasionally worked behind the bar and in the kitchen, free of charge ;)). I cannot talk about it without talking about the AMAZING peeps - friends new and old who have created our brand for us just by showing up. And before this sounds too much more like an Emmy acceptance speech than it already does, lets cut to the chase. I own a cocktail bar in Paris - and I’m pinching myself because it still, after everything, seems a bit too good to be true.
Highlights : Cinco de Mayo, our TODAY show slot, hitting the Conde Nast Top 24 Bars in Paris in our first month, and maybe most exciting, the first time I walked into a restaurant, 40 minutes from the bar, and had someone shout: ‘It’s Abricot!’
Low-lights : anything involving mountains of paperwork or missing receipts
Most excited about : We’ve got plans, for a bigger Abricot team, and maybe another stonefruit locale one day. The big picture creative stuff … we’re always blue sky thinking around here…
